Mrs. Archuleta  kik'n!
Welcome to all the new students that have joined our family of Taekwondoist at the YMCA and Triple T's.  I encourage you to give TKD a chance and stay for at least 3 months.  Learning to be martial artist is not easy and most drop out soon after joining.  I challenge each of you to give it time and you can be a well rounded  martial artist.  You are already a piece of art, just let our class of  Black Belts chisel away the rough edges to make you the best martial artist that you can be!.
Don't forget --15 Oct at 7:30-Wear your dobok or a white t-shirt without any logos on the front.  We will have a group photo taken by the YMCA.
Congratulations goes to Green Belt Ron Gilbar - now 2nd Lt. in the US Army/National Guard.  This past summer he completed his Masters Program in education and this month received his commission. SALUTE!!

2 Nov 2002-Master Bob Owens TKD Tournament at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Info is on web site.  I will be attending, let me know now if you are planning to compete!  Don't wait till the week before and say I want to compete.$50.00 for both events if you register on-line and $65.00 at the door.
23 Nov 2002- Promotional test for those that will be ready...Don't Ask, I'll let you know if you are a candidate for promotion.  Times will be provided later.
